Summary of Tele-Coaching on Lydia and Conference Recording!

Here is the link to the recording!  Tele-Coaching on Lydia

Summary on Lydia:

Scripture:  Acts 16:12

Facts about Lydia:

1.  Lived in Philippi, a Roman Colony, leading city in Macedonia District
2.  Dealer of Purple:  Businesswoman, had some wealth.
3.  She was from Thyatira (Asian Providence)
4.  Worshiper of God
5.  The Lord opened her heart.
6.   Persuasive - (Members of her household was baptized.)
7.   Hospitable - (Invited Paul and others to stay in her home.)

Key Lessons:

Worshiper of God:  This lesson is very evident in each of the women studied and in Lydia.  We must worship God in spirit and in truth!  He is to have first place in our lives.  No worry but Worship God!

Her faith was a result of God's work in her life.  God has led us to repentence.  It was His goodness.

Persuasive:  She had integrity and trust of her household members.  It was obvious because they too were baptized.  We need to excercise Godly influence to our family.  Our family is the first place of ministry.  Amen.

Hospitality:  NIV Bible Definition:  Welcoming people into one's home; sharing one's home and food with others.

Scriptures on Hospitality:  Romans 12:13 [14-21]
                                       1 Peter 4:9-10

Hospitality is a characteristic that speaks of God's goodness.  We are being examples when we give and share.  We are to share with the household of faith not just material gifts but the gifts of the Holy Spirit!  Also, we are even to share with our enemies perhaps winning them to Christ Jesus!

Be Blessed!

Summary of Tele-Coaching on Mary Magdalene, Evangelist Merie "Cookie" Hunter

Summary of Tele-Coaching on Mary Magdalene, Evangelist Merie "Cookie" Hunter

The recording link:  Mary Magdalene Tele-Coaching

Such a blessing!  Short and sweet!

There was not volumes written in the Bible on this follower of Jesus Christ, but what was written speaks to us women of today!

Luke 7:37-38 Tells of her pouring of perfume on Jesus.  Such a grandeur outpouring of worship on the King of kings and Lord of Lords!  She loved much because her many sins were forgiven.

Luke 8:1-3 This scripture mentions that 7 demons were cast out of her.  In verse three, it mentions she and the other women mentioned supported Jesus and the disciples.  These women followed Jesus as He preached.

John 19:25 She followed all the way to the cross.

John 20:1-13 She was at the tomb for one reason, but soon learned of Jesus resurrection.  He gave her the message to tell the disciples.

From Evangelist Cookie's Teaching:

1.  She was an evangelist.  She was a beloved disciple sent with a message.  She could also be considered an apostle.

2.  Women were major followers of Jesus.  They gave financial support.  It was learned that
Mary Magdalene could have had a rich uncle in the city.  They were indeed providing financial backing.  It takes money to support ministry and keep it going.

3.  She was the first at the scene of the resurrection.

Points:

Seek opportunities to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Move forward and strengthen ourselves.
Examples of evangelism:
   Street corner evangelism
   Corporate Evangelism
Practice inward ministry to the Church wherever you practice your faith.
Keep spreading the love of Christ in a loving way.

   Finally:  Step out!

Summary on the Samaritan Woman - Evangelist Narvaez

Praise God for the Gift of God!!!  Blessings Woman of God!

Serving God with Confidence

1.  Samaritans were people rejected by the Jews.  They did not associate with them.  As women of God, sometimes we face rejection.

2.  Worship:  Serve God is a part of our worship.

3.  Devoted:  Full of Admiration for something or someone.  Action word confirms our commitment.

4.  Confidence:  Fulfillment by walking in the Spirit.  Galatians 5:16

5.  Faint not and do not give up.  Galatians 6:9

6.  God's work cannot be imitated.  It will be tested and tried.  The fire when Jesus comes will burn up the imitation.

7.  We are chosen!  Despise not the day of small beginnings.

8.  Follow - do what God tells us.
The reward is behind the call!

Special Revelation:  Have more heart for His people!  Increase for His people!

  5. Faithfulness

What is God saying to you about the words that you speak?

What is the area of your life that you know God is pleased?  He is saying well done.  Ask Him.  He will tell you.

I am called to act my faith with this _____ action.

Summary of Prophetess Anna and Recording Link

Summary of Prophetess Anna  (Here is the recording link: Prophetess Anna Recording!)

Facts on Her life:

  1. Prophetess: "A person who receives messages from God to tell His people." (Dictionary from NIV Bible)  He or she is called by God to speak for Him.
  2. From the Tribe of Asher -  Asher means happy.  This was one of the tribes of the Northern Kingdom that was apostate (away from the living God).
  3. She was very old.  Estimates her age was about 104-105 years old.
  4. She was a widow from a young age.
  5. She never left the temple.
  6. She was worshipper of God.
  7. She fasted and prayed!
  8. She gave a prophecy (revelation from God) about Jesus to Mary and Joseph.  He is and was the Redeemer of Israel and the world.

Lessons from Her life:

  •  Listen

She had to listen to God in order to speak for Him.

  • Joy

She had joy serving God.  The joy of the Lord is our strength.

  • Discipline
She had to have discipline to stay in the temple and never leave.  Also, she practiced prayer and fasting.

  • Worshipper

She worshipped God in spirit and in truth.

  • Faithful to the Call

She remained faithful and seen the fulfillment of prophecy.  God gave her revelation about Jesus.

Special Revelation:

God is not a respecter of age.  He chose Moses @ 80 to lead Israel and Joshua @ the same age.  We see that God used Anna in her old age as well.  She seen the Redeemer, and God's promise fulfilled.

Also, He chooses the young.  He called Jeremiah from a youth.  Jesus, Son of God, began His ministry @ 30.

God is looking for willing vessels!
