Week of August 16: Recording(s) and Summary of Lesson on Prayer

Summary of Lesson on Prayer

Miracles Can Be Yours Today!  By Pat Robertson

God told him not to pray for money needed for the ministry.  God said:  “Praye for the nations, the world, and others to be saved!”

God gave Brother Robertson a vision!

The scriptural reference was Matthew 6:33.  Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.  And all these things will be added to you.

God has made the ministry to have the following:

  • Prayer Centers are around the US and other nations.
  • Television stations all over the world.
  • Broadcasting in Soviet Union, Chile, and other nations.

Isaiah 56:7-8 House of Prayer

God’s house is a house of prayer for all nations.  This is vital.  Vitality for all nations is prayer.  God’s brings the nations into His house.

Women of Harvest is to go international for the sake of the Kingdom of God!

Salvations of others are important.  Matthew 28:18-20

  1. Change of focus
Jesus at the temple drives out money changers.  The prosperity gospel is a different one that Jesus taught.  It teaches to give to get.  It teaches to focus on self and being selfish.

Matthew 21:12-13
Jesus turns over the money changers tables.

Don’t focus on financial aspects.  (Vision brings provision.)

House of prayer is to be a joy.

  1. Fruit of Repentance
Mark 11:12-17

Pharisees had no fruit to produce prayer that healed, delivered, or to help anyone else.
Mark 11:22 When we are fruitful, then we can speak to mountains to move.

  1. Walk in Forgiveness and remove hindrances.

Keep a clean slate with God and man.  This is a repeat focus from last week.  Forgive others quickly of their faults.  Nothing should hinder our prayers.

  1. Don’t Be a Hindrance to Others
Let us not cause others to lose their focus on God and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bonus~!

Jesus said when clearing out the money changers, “It is written.”  Utilize the Scriptures when praying.  Many Psalms are good to stand on.

Utilize praise with prayer!  Acts 15:16  Paul and Silas prayer and sang hymns unto God.  So powerful, that there was shaking going on to loose shackles off of others.  Captives will be set free.

Prophetic Warning:

Judgment begins in the house of God.  Fortune telling will be cast out!  Cast the idols out!  Community will be transformed.

Intercessors shall pray for the Five Fold Ministry.  Persecution will follow those who obey God!

Prayer and Biblical Coaching - Lessons from Prayer!

Prayer Teleconference!

Biblical Coaching Lesson on Prayer

Key Lessons on Prayer:

  • Keep examining yourself and stay in repentance.  A repentant lifestyle is one that keeps a clean slate with God and man.
  • Get up before daylight to pray.  The Jews believe that you are able to move the schemes out of the way.
  • Prayer is essential to being a Christian.  It is how the Kingdom of God advances!
  • Our prayers are effective according to James 5:13-18.  Healing the sick, affecting the weather like Elijah.
  • Our prayers are powerful according Acts 4:31.  Powerful enough to shake things in the spiritual and natural.
Blessings,

Minister Catisha
