Faith believes and hopes for in what is unseen. It is a trust.
Believers in Christ Jesus trust in Him and God the Father. Their faith is evident by their actions. These actions are right and validate their
faith. “You see that a person is
considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”(James 2:24) Jesus additional stated, “That by their fruit
you will recognize them.” Goodness comes
from those who believe. It is in their
DNA that is inherited by receiving the Holy Spirit.
Faith is action word.
It is carried out by obeying the voice of the Lord. The Holy Bible confirms God’s way of
doing. Faith is also alive. The risen and alive Savior, Jesus Christ,
directs this faith. He is the pioneer
and perfect of it. “As the body without
the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”(James 2:26)
Challenge: Believers,
examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Faith is active and alive. It does righteousness. Consider those such as Noah that acted on faith. The Holy Spirit gives counsel and helps
us! Amen!
