Mark 13:20, 27
20 “If the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would survive. But for the sake of the elect, whom he has chosen, he has shortened them.
27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens."
God has promised an ending of all things. It is sure to take place. It will be a distressful time. The days of the end have been shortened for
God’s people. He has providentially set
a circumstance for their survival. God
is amazing in that way. He cares for His
people, the elect and chosen.
Believers in Christ can be comforted with God’s word. He has given ample warning about the
end. He wants His people to be on guard
against deceit and know the truth. The time
will come and His people, the elect, will be gathered together.
Challenge: People of
God seek the Lord while He may be found.
Help others know Him and become His child. He is preparing His people to be gathered
together. Amen!
