"You, However, Know!"(2 Timothy 4:10)

"You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance."(2 Timothy 4:10)

Greetings Saints of God,

Can others say that they know about you?  Does your lifestyle teach godliness?  A legacy should be in development of knowing God and Christ Jesus.  This is done purpose without the pretense of just trying to make a good impression or show.  Others should say,  I know that our way of life is fulfilling the purpose of God and is an example of faith, love, patience, and endurance.  This is all to the glory of God in Christ Jesus.

Challenge:  The time is always right to examine our way of life to see if we are in the faith.  Be blessed!

"The New Creation Has Come!"(2 Corinthians 5:17)

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Greetings Saints of God,

We are in Christ Jesus. We have repented and God has changed our lives. We are new creations. That is the bottom line.   The Holy Spirit deposited into lives as our inheritance.  The old will one day be gone forever.  We will have new bodies and living eternally with God.  Glory to God!

Challenge:  Live like citizens of the new.  Praise God and give Him glory.  We will be living forever with Him, Jesus.  Glory!

"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." (Revelation 21:1-2)

"Put on the New Self!"(Ephesians 4:-22-24)

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:22-24)

Greetings Saints and Blessed New Year,

This is the new year.  Welcome 2016 with the attitude of increasing of the new you in Christ Jesus.  The old is to be continually put off and cast aside with its sinful, deceitful desires.  A noteworthy commitment is to pray for the attitude of mind that is like our God.  The mind like God is to have "true righteousness and holiness."(Ephesians 4:24)  Amen!

Challenge:  Let us increase in prayer and Bible memorization/meditation as a way of growing in the likeness of Father God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

"They Bowed Down and Worshiped Him!"(Matthew 2:11)

"11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh."(Matthew 2:11)

"Glory to God in the Highest!"(Luke 2:14)

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
Luke 2:14

Christmas is time to celebrate Jesus.  Jesus is the salvation to all who believe.  God the Father has granted peace to all who call to Him in repentance and truth.  This is His favor.  He has given His only Son as a gift.  It is only to be received.

Challenge:  Make Christmas as much as possible about God's indescribable gift of Jesus Christ.  Make Christmas morning about getting up with the children to read from the Bible about Jesus' birth.  Make gatherings a time to bring Jesus as the focus.  He is the gift that is for all year long!

10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."(Luke 2:10-11)

"I Will Be Their God!"(Ezekiel 37:27)

My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.”(Ezekiel 37:27)

God has spoken many promises to those who call on the name of the Lord Jesus.  He will be with His people.  One of them is that He will be their God.  He will never leave or forsake them.  People make promises that they may not keep, but God always delivers on His Word.  Great and wonderful is our God.  We are His people.

This great promise in Ezekiel is made throughout the Old Testament.  The New Testament speaks of a culmination of the promise.  The Holy Bible is quoted below:

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look!  God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them.  They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.”(Revelation 21:3)

Challenge:  Remember we are only in a temporary journey right now.  God will fulfill the above promise to dwell with us.  We are His and He is ours!

"God Is Speaking!"(Hebrews 1:1-2)

Greetings Saints,

“From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.”(Jeremiah 28:8)

God is now speaking.  We can view the headlines.  Wars, disasters, and plagues are in the news.  How is else is God speaking?  He is sending His message of the Gospel into all nations.  He is speaking through His Son, Jesus Christ.  Salvation is for all who call on His name.  Now is the time to plant seeds and water them.  We are building God’s kingdom for His glory and praise.

Challenge:

Let us be noble vessels laboring in the field and yielding a crop for Jesus!  Amen!

“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways. But in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.”(Hebrew 1:1-2)
