My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”(Ezekiel 37:27)
God has spoken many promises to those who call on the name
of the Lord Jesus. He will be with His
people. One of them is that He will be
their God. He will never leave or
forsake them. People make promises that
they may not keep, but God always delivers on His Word. Great and wonderful is our God. We are His people.
This great promise in Ezekiel is made throughout the Old
Testament. The New Testament speaks of a
culmination of the promise. The Holy
Bible is quoted below:
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people,
and he will dwell with them. They will
be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.”(Revelation
21:3)
Challenge: Remember
we are only in a temporary journey right now.
God will fulfill the above promise to dwell with us. We are His and He is ours!
