“Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you!"(John 20:21)
Jesus is
called the Prince of Peace. He promised and does give peace to His people. It is not the peace of the world. Peace
symbols and signs do not hold the peace of God. God’s peace surpasses all understanding. Turmoil, distress, etc. upsets the mind and
soul. The disciples felt this after
Jesus’ death and resurrection. His
appearance and words were meant to comfort them.
Challenge: Do you need comfort? I encourage you to rely on Jesus and receive
His peace. Glory to God, the Most
High! Amen!
“May the God of hope
fill you with all joy and peace as
you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy
Spirit.”(Romans 15:13)
