"Let Us Draw Near to God!"(Hebrews 10:22)

22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water."(Hebrews 10:22)

God is calling His people to draw close to Him. He is wanting them to understand their covenant relationship with Him.  He has once and for all made the guilt of sin to be forgiven and cleansed away.  Jesus shed His blood for the sins of all especially believers.  He has given the grace to believe and draw near to God, the Father.

This is the power of grace.  His grace has the ability and power to keep the children of God from sinning.  This grace is the power behind doing righteousness and building the relationship with God through prayer.  Prayer is one of the results of receiving grace and responding to Jesus in faith.


Challenge:  Let us do the Scripture:  "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."(Hebrews 4:16)
