It is great when family and/or friends visits. You get prepared by cleaning the common areas
like the kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
You stock the refrigerator and cabinets with essentials like milk,
bread, etc. You make preparations for
them to have a good visit. You want them
to have a great time.
Believers in Christ Jesus are preparing for the ultimate
visit. Jesus will return and gather the
believers together. The Holy Spirit is
making preparations in their hearts.
Their heart will be pure and without spot or wrinkle. Jesus told a similar believer to get ready for
his visit.
“When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus,
come down immediately. I must stay at
your house today.”(Luke 19:5)
Challenge: Believer,
is your house ready? Can you respond
like Zacchaeus? He had a heart to see
Jesus and practice a life of repentance toward a clean heart.
