"The Grace of God!"(Titus 2:11-12)

"11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,"(Titus 2:11-12)

Greetings,

God's grace is certainly amazing!  It has taught us so much about the One that we serve as believers.  We have been enabled to say, "No."  Our lives have taken on new meaning.  New beginnings are happening each time that we overcome an area utilizing self-control and saying, "Yes," to all that is godly.  Glory to Jesus!  Amen!

Challenge:   A worthy lifestyle goal is to continue on in this grace remembering the following verses: "13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good."(Titus 2:13-14)

"New Self!"(Colossians 3:10)

"And have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator."(Colossians 3:10)

Greetings,

I am so glad that God gave believers a new self in Christ Jesus, His only Son.  The more a person seeks God then they will find Him.  They will be renewed.  The old is continuously being written over with the new life of Jesus.  Let thankfulness and gratefulness overflow our hearts.  It is wonderful and awesome to receive all of this goodness.

Challenge:  The old self (flesh) has no hold over me or you.  It has been replaced with the newness of the life of Christ Jesus!

"Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation."

"The New Believers"(Acts 8:15)

"When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,"(Acts 8:15)

Greetings,

Daily, a new day is given graciously by the Father to all creation.  He gives new beginnings every day.  New believers experience a new closeness to God by receiving reconciliation through Jesus Christ.  They also receive the Holy Spirit.  The power of God is received to live holy and righteously.  There is the importance of being a witness of the salvation and the love of God that is found in Christ Jesus.

Challenge: Let gratefulness be found continually for the gift of the Holy Spirit!

"This New Life!"(Acts 5:20)

“Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”(Acts 5:20)

Greetings,

We are embarking upon 2017.  Research has adequately described the number 17 as symbolizing overcoming the enemy with victories.  The Lord gave a message to His followers about releasing the message of the Gospel (New Life). Much prayer and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit enables us to live this new life being witnesses for Jesus Christ.

The Lord is speaking in many different ways to go, to preach, to give, to be a friend, and many other examples.  He is saying that He has given power, love, and a sound mind to be a bold, very courageous believer.

Challenge:  Receive this encouragement:  "We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”(Acts 5:32)

"The End!"(1 Peter 4:7)

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray." (1 Peter 4:7)

Greetings,

The end of the year is upon us once again.  Endings always mark new beginnings.  They both should be celebrated.  It is Father God who ordains them both.  His salvation through Jesus marked the end of the Old Covenant and replaced with the New Covenant.  The old life of sin replaced with the new life of righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.  Celebrate always thanking the Father in prayer and praise for life eternal.

Challenge:  Many more endings and beginnings are promised in the Holy Scriptures.  Let us stay focused on sharing with others salvation in Jesus, the ultimate new beginning!  Amen!

"They Had Been Told!"(Luke 2:20)

"20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told."(Luke 2:20)

Greetings and Merry CHRISTmas,

Let us keep prayer a priority alongside praising God continuously during this season!  God is speaking always!  We pick up His Holy Scriptures that tells His story about His only Son, Jesus.  The world has been told and the Word, Jesus, is still being shared.  We bring glory to God every time that we share His love with the Good News about salvation through Jesus.

Challenge:  We are to be found faithful in prayer for others to hear and see Jesus for themselves receiving eternal life.

"So David Inquired of God!"(1 Chronicles 14:10)

10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”
Greetings,
It is always right to pray and inquire of the Lord God!  He has promised to answer all who seek Him.  This encouragement is for us all and do not let anything come between the act of praying in Jesus name.  A person of faith like David keeps depending on the Lord for instructions.  Knowing and seeking the Lord is success.
Challenge: Prayers are to be continuous!  Let us persevere in faith and know the Lord will answer.  Amen!

"Be Thankful and so Worship God!"(Hebrews 12:28)

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe..”(Hebrews 12:28)

Greetings,

Thankfulness is part of a believers' prayer and worship life. It is essential to giving God praise, reverence, and awe. It shows the high esteem that we have for Him. Let us lead others with triumphant procession into His presence. Our grateful and thankful hearts leading the way!

Challenge: Our kingdom inheritance includes the Holy Spirit.  We are able to lead in such as way that thankfulness is automatic.

"Thanksgiving!"(1 Timothy 2:1)

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—“( 1 Timothy 2:1)

Greetings,

The holiday of Thanksgiving has come and gone. However, thanksgiving should be continually celebrated every day. The Holy Spirit leads us in prayer and Thanksgiving. Let us be open of some ways to add thankfulness in our daily lives especially during prayer. It is wonderful to bless our Father and Savior, Jesus Christ with such thoughtfulness.

Challenge: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and enter his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.”(Psalm 100:4)

"Thanksgiving to Overflow!"(2 Corinthians 4:15)

"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."(2 Corinthians 4:15)

Greetings,

It is time once again to celebrate the holiday, Thanksgiving Day.  This day seems nominal to some or has little significance.  In fact, the holiday is slowly slipping into another shopping day.   The true meaning is being forgotten with these activities.  Believers are responsible for keeping the attitude of gratitude making it contagious.

Every day is for giving thanks.  Father God has given such a great salvation through Jesus Christ.  He has filled many with great and wonderful blessings of miracles.  His grace and mercy are at the top of the list.  Our prayers should enthusiastically include thanksgiving!

Challenge:  Let us keep making "thanksgiving" a part of who we are as believers in Christ Jesus!  Amen!

"In My Prayers!"(2 Timothy 1:3)

I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers."(2 Timothy 1:3)

Greetings,

It is my passion/calling to promote and exhort God's people to pray unto Him in Jesus name.   I pray that I am following in Jesus' footsteps in doing so diligently and persistently.    I give thanksgiving unto God for the opportunities to give back to my brothers and sisters in this way.  Let us continue on seeking and praying unto God while He can be found.

Challenge:  I love this verse: 18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way."(Hebrews 13:18)

"On the Golden Altar!"(Revelation 8:3)

3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,on the golden altar in front of the throne.”(Revelation 8:3)

Greetings,

Gold is known as the most precious of metals. High value is placed on it by those in the world. Father God, the Creator of all, puts a distinguishing value on gold since the streets in Heaven are made of it. Also, there is the golden altar along with the golden bowls of incense. The bowls are holding the prayers of God's people and the altar is where they are offered to God. The prayers of the righteous are highly valued and are as pure as gold.

Challenge: Make your very life one of prayer and watch the golden answers come from the Father in Jesus name!

"Golden Bowls Full of Incense"(Revelation 5:8)

"And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people."(Revelation 5:8)

Greetings,

There is something significant about this verse.  It speaks of the end times of course, but there is something else.  It speaks of the activity of prayer by God's people during the end times.  The golden bowls are full of incense that are representing our prayers.  Another aspect of the verse catching my attention is that the living creatures and elders each had a bowl used during worship of the God Most High!  So wonderful and so great is our Father to include us in on the Heavenly worship.

Challenge:  Let us get a whole mind-blowing belief about our prayers.  They are continually going before the Father in Jesus name as part of the continuous worship in Heaven.  We are going to found faithful when the Lord Jesus comes!  Amen!

Visit Scheduled!(Matthew 24:36)

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."(Matthew 24:36)

Greetings,

It is becoming apparent day by day that Jesus is scheduled to return soon.  Matthew 24 foretells much about the day approaching.  Believers in Christ Jesus are standing firm that the day will indeed happen.  It is one of the promises and prophecies of the Holy Bible.  We still have the work of the Kingdom.  Our faith is significant in these end times.

Challenge:  Jesus gave this encouraging word: "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”(Luke 21:28)

"Who Is a God Like You!"(Micah 7:18)

"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy."(Micah 7:18)

Greetings,

There is no other God, but our Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Judgments are taking place throughout the world.  God's delight however is to give mercy instead of the judgment.  Repentance is God's kindness to all that would receive and is an example of His mercy.  Let us pray fervently for God's kindness, compassion, and mercy.  Surely, He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Challenge:  Let us remember, "Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy."(Habakkuk 3:2)

"Everything Good!"(Hebrews 13:21)

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”(Hebrews 13:20-21)

Greetings,
The above Scripture is my pray for the believers in Christ Jesus. We know that Father God has given us everything. All good things come from Him. He works and enables us to do what is pleasing to Him. It is by His grace. We all, especially in these times, will need to always look to Jesus. He is the great Shepherd of the sheep. Let us be thankful and grateful! He has given us much peace and many other spiritual blessings.

Challenge: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.”(Hebrews 13:15)

"Since You Are Looking Forward to This!"(2 Peter 3:14-15)

“14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.”(2 Peter 3:14-15)

Greetings,

We are seeing the Day approaching! The Day of the Lord is coming upon us! There is encouragement from the Word of God on this topic. Our lives as believers in Jesus should be found without spots or blame. We can through our Helper, the Holy Spirit, be found at peace with Him. I have joy when I think of the Father's provision in every way.

Challenge: Think of the Lord's bearing long with us for our salvation! This inspires strength, hope, and courage! Glory to God!

"The Wise Ones!"(Matthew 25:4)

The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. (Matthew 25:4)

Greetings,

The times are distressing! Surely we are approaching the end of time. Jesus taught in the parable of the virgins that preparation is needed. Preparation is wise. The lack of getting ready is foolishness. Everyday is time to evaluate to see if one is in the faith. We should be working out salvation with fear and trembling. Our thoughts should align with God's thoughts. We should be focused on the permanent that is eternal. Everything being of this world is temporary.

Challenge: Pray and pray some more! Cover your family, friends, associates, acquaintances, and even enemies for the saving of souls. There is a great urgency! By all means get some extra oil!

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”(Matthew 25:13)

"Encourage Your Hearts!"(Colossians 4:8)

I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.”(Colossians 4:8)

Greetings,

The Scriptures mentions at least two times when the Apostle Paul sent someone to encourage. We have different methods of sending such as texts, email, instant message, etc. Utilize these methods to be an encouragement to someone. It does not have to be long or complex. A simple thought with uplifting words can help build up a brother or sister in Jesus Christ.

Challenge: Encouragement may not be your gift or calling, but it does not take much to show others the love of Jesus. Amen!

"Words of Encouragement!"(Acts 20:2)

He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece,”(Acts 20:2)

Greetings,

Words are important! There is life and death in them. Some are meant to build up and others will tear down. Some are positive or negative. Our faith grows with words to strengthen it. Hope is built up by kind and enthusiastic words. Let us get in alignment with the Father, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Let us go around spreading words of encouragement.

Challenge: “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”(Romans 15:4)
