"Love One Another Deeply!"(1 Peter 1:22)

"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart."(1 Peter 1:22)

Greetings,

Love is a constant in the believers' life.  It is taught throughout the Holy Bible.  It is the greatest commandment.  Love conquers all!  It is no wonder that God encourages us to have it for Him and for others.  Love is to be sincere and from purity in heart.  Glory to God in the Highest!  It is to be deep and surpasses the shallowness that the media portrays.  Jesus is forever the greatest role model of love!

Challenge:  Believers should be excited to receive the love of God in Christ Jesus and also to share it with other believers.  Peter describes in the same way twice.  He states via the Holy Spirit, "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."(1 Peter 4:8)

"Rooted and Established in Love!"(Ephesians 3:17)

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, (Ephesians 3:17-18)

Greetings,

Love is a command in the Bible.  The Scripture defines "God is love."  It is no wonder that love is and should be a characteristic of His people.  God's children are known by their love in action.  Love overcomes and covers the wrongs of others.  It is the greatest.  Jesus is the ultimate role model and teacher of love.  He is is our example. 

Challenge:  Let us follow the example that Christ Jesus set for us in loving God and others.  He was obedient to His Father's purpose and loved by laying down His life for us all.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."(John 15:13)

"You, However, Know!"(2 Timothy 4:10)

"You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance."(2 Timothy 4:10)

Greetings Saints of God,

Can others say that they know about you?  Does your lifestyle teach godliness?  A legacy should be in development of knowing God and Christ Jesus.  This is done purpose without the pretense of just trying to make a good impression or show.  Others should say,  I know that our way of life is fulfilling the purpose of God and is an example of faith, love, patience, and endurance.  This is all to the glory of God in Christ Jesus.

Challenge:  The time is always right to examine our way of life to see if we are in the faith.  Be blessed!

"The New Creation Has Come!"(2 Corinthians 5:17)

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"(2 Corinthians 5:17)

Greetings Saints of God,

We are in Christ Jesus. We have repented and God has changed our lives. We are new creations. That is the bottom line.   The Holy Spirit deposited into lives as our inheritance.  The old will one day be gone forever.  We will have new bodies and living eternally with God.  Glory to God!  

Challenge:  Live like citizens of the new.  Praise God and give Him glory.  We will be living forever with Him, Jesus.  Glory!

"Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." (Revelation 21:1-2)

"Put on the New Self!"(Ephesians 4:-22-24)

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." (Ephesians 4:22-24)

Greetings Saints and Blessed New Year,

This is the new year.  Welcome 2016 with the attitude of increasing of the new you in Christ Jesus.  The old is to be continually put off and cast aside with its sinful, deceitful desires.  A noteworthy commitment is to pray for the attitude of mind that is like our God.  The mind like God is to have "true righteousness and holiness."(Ephesians 4:24)  Amen!

Challenge:  Let us increase in prayer and Bible memorization/meditation as a way of growing in the likeness of Father God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
