"The End!"(1 Peter 4:7)

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray." (1 Peter 4:7)

Greetings,

The end of the year is upon us once again.  Endings always mark new beginnings.  They both should be celebrated.  It is Father God who ordains them both.  His salvation through Jesus marked the end of the Old Covenant and replaced with the New Covenant.  The old life of sin replaced with the new life of righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.  Celebrate always thanking the Father in prayer and praise for life eternal.

Challenge:  Many more endings and beginnings are promised in the Holy Scriptures.  Let us stay focused on sharing with others salvation in Jesus, the ultimate new beginning!  Amen!

"They Had Been Told!"(Luke 2:20)

"20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told."(Luke 2:20)

Greetings and Merry CHRISTmas,

Let us keep prayer a priority alongside praising God continuously during this season!  God is speaking always!  We pick up His Holy Scriptures that tells His story about His only Son, Jesus.  The world has been told and the Word, Jesus, is still being shared.  We bring glory to God every time that we share His love with the Good News about salvation through Jesus.

Challenge:  We are to be found faithful in prayer for others to hear and see Jesus for themselves receiving eternal life.

"So David Inquired of God!"(1 Chronicles 14:10)

10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?”
The Lord answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.”
Greetings,
It is always right to pray and inquire of the Lord God!  He has promised to answer all who seek Him.  This encouragement is for us all and do not let anything come between the act of praying in Jesus name.  A person of faith like David keeps depending on the Lord for instructions.  Knowing and seeking the Lord is success.
Challenge: Prayers are to be continuous!  Let us persevere in faith and know the Lord will answer.  Amen!

"Be Thankful and so Worship God!"(Hebrews 12:28)

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe..”(Hebrews 12:28)

Greetings,

Thankfulness is part of a believers' prayer and worship life. It is essential to giving God praise, reverence, and awe. It shows the high esteem that we have for Him. Let us lead others with triumphant procession into His presence. Our grateful and thankful hearts leading the way!

Challenge: Our kingdom inheritance includes the Holy Spirit.  We are able to lead in such as way that thankfulness is automatic.

"Thanksgiving!"(1 Timothy 2:1)

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—“( 1 Timothy 2:1)

Greetings,

The holiday of Thanksgiving has come and gone. However, thanksgiving should be continually celebrated every day. The Holy Spirit leads us in prayer and Thanksgiving. Let us be open of some ways to add thankfulness in our daily lives especially during prayer. It is wonderful to bless our Father and Savior, Jesus Christ with such thoughtfulness.

Challenge: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and enter his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.”(Psalm 100:4)

"Thanksgiving to Overflow!"(2 Corinthians 4:15)

"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God."(2 Corinthians 4:15)

Greetings,

It is time once again to celebrate the holiday, Thanksgiving Day.  This day seems nominal to some or has little significance.  In fact, the holiday is slowly slipping into another shopping day.   The true meaning is being forgotten with these activities.  Believers are responsible for keeping the attitude of gratitude making it contagious.

Every day is for giving thanks.  Father God has given such a great salvation through Jesus Christ.  He has filled many with great and wonderful blessings of miracles.  His grace and mercy are at the top of the list.  Our prayers should enthusiastically include thanksgiving!

Challenge:  Let us keep making "thanksgiving" a part of who we are as believers in Christ Jesus!  Amen!

"In My Prayers!"(2 Timothy 1:3)

I thank God, whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers."(2 Timothy 1:3)

Greetings,

It is my passion/calling to promote and exhort God's people to pray unto Him in Jesus name.   I pray that I am following in Jesus' footsteps in doing so diligently and persistently.    I give thanksgiving unto God for the opportunities to give back to my brothers and sisters in this way.  Let us continue on seeking and praying unto God while He can be found.

Challenge:  I love this verse: 18 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way."(Hebrews 13:18)

"On the Golden Altar!"(Revelation 8:3)

3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people,on the golden altar in front of the throne.”(Revelation 8:3)

Greetings,

Gold is known as the most precious of metals. High value is placed on it by those in the world. Father God, the Creator of all, puts a distinguishing value on gold since the streets in Heaven are made of it. Also, there is the golden altar along with the golden bowls of incense. The bowls are holding the prayers of God's people and the altar is where they are offered to God. The prayers of the righteous are highly valued and are as pure as gold.

Challenge: Make your very life one of prayer and watch the golden answers come from the Father in Jesus name!

"Golden Bowls Full of Incense"(Revelation 5:8)

"And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people."(Revelation 5:8)

Greetings,

There is something significant about this verse.  It speaks of the end times of course, but there is something else.  It speaks of the activity of prayer by God's people during the end times.  The golden bowls are full of incense that are representing our prayers.  Another aspect of the verse catching my attention is that the living creatures and elders each had a bowl used during worship of the God Most High!  So wonderful and so great is our Father to include us in on the Heavenly worship.

Challenge:  Let us get a whole mind-blowing belief about our prayers.  They are continually going before the Father in Jesus name as part of the continuous worship in Heaven.  We are going to found faithful when the Lord Jesus comes!  Amen!

Visit Scheduled!(Matthew 24:36)

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."(Matthew 24:36)

Greetings,

It is becoming apparent day by day that Jesus is scheduled to return soon.  Matthew 24 foretells much about the day approaching.  Believers in Christ Jesus are standing firm that the day will indeed happen.  It is one of the promises and prophecies of the Holy Bible.  We still have the work of the Kingdom.  Our faith is significant in these end times.

Challenge:  Jesus gave this encouraging word: "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”(Luke 21:28)

"Who Is a God Like You!"(Micah 7:18)

"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy."(Micah 7:18)

Greetings,

There is no other God, but our Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Judgments are taking place throughout the world.  God's delight however is to give mercy instead of the judgment.  Repentance is God's kindness to all that would receive and is an example of His mercy.  Let us pray fervently for God's kindness, compassion, and mercy.  Surely, He hears the prayer of the righteous.

Challenge:  Let us remember, "Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy."(Habakkuk 3:2)

"Everything Good!"(Hebrews 13:21)

20 Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”(Hebrews 13:20-21)

Greetings,
The above Scripture is my pray for the believers in Christ Jesus. We know that Father God has given us everything. All good things come from Him. He works and enables us to do what is pleasing to Him. It is by His grace. We all, especially in these times, will need to always look to Jesus. He is the great Shepherd of the sheep. Let us be thankful and grateful! He has given us much peace and many other spiritual blessings.

Challenge: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.”(Hebrews 13:15)

"Since You Are Looking Forward to This!"(2 Peter 3:14-15)

“14 So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. 15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.”(2 Peter 3:14-15)

Greetings,

We are seeing the Day approaching! The Day of the Lord is coming upon us! There is encouragement from the Word of God on this topic. Our lives as believers in Jesus should be found without spots or blame. We can through our Helper, the Holy Spirit, be found at peace with Him. I have joy when I think of the Father's provision in every way.

Challenge: Think of the Lord's bearing long with us for our salvation! This inspires strength, hope, and courage! Glory to God!

"The Wise Ones!"(Matthew 25:4)

The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. (Matthew 25:4)

Greetings,

The times are distressing! Surely we are approaching the end of time. Jesus taught in the parable of the virgins that preparation is needed. Preparation is wise. The lack of getting ready is foolishness. Everyday is time to evaluate to see if one is in the faith. We should be working out salvation with fear and trembling. Our thoughts should align with God's thoughts. We should be focused on the permanent that is eternal. Everything being of this world is temporary.

Challenge: Pray and pray some more! Cover your family, friends, associates, acquaintances, and even enemies for the saving of souls. There is a great urgency! By all means get some extra oil!

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”(Matthew 25:13)

"Encourage Your Hearts!"(Colossians 4:8)

I am sending him to you for the express purpose that you may know about our circumstances and that he may encourage your hearts.”(Colossians 4:8)

Greetings,

The Scriptures mentions at least two times when the Apostle Paul sent someone to encourage. We have different methods of sending such as texts, email, instant message, etc. Utilize these methods to be an encouragement to someone. It does not have to be long or complex. A simple thought with uplifting words can help build up a brother or sister in Jesus Christ.

Challenge: Encouragement may not be your gift or calling, but it does not take much to show others the love of Jesus. Amen!

"Words of Encouragement!"(Acts 20:2)

He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece,”(Acts 20:2)

Greetings,

Words are important! There is life and death in them. Some are meant to build up and others will tear down. Some are positive or negative. Our faith grows with words to strengthen it. Hope is built up by kind and enthusiastic words. Let us get in alignment with the Father, Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Let us go around spreading words of encouragement.

Challenge: “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”(Romans 15:4)

"Eternal Encouragement!"(2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

“16 May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace give us eternal encouragement and good hope 17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”(2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

Encouragement originates with God, our Father!  Jesus also facilitates encouragement!  Encouragement is needed for all people especially believers in Christ Jesus.  We need the courage and strength to take actions when facing opposition.  God is with us to rescue and help us!  Glory to His name!

Challenge:  Believer, the next time you need courage and strength look first to the Father and the Lord Jesus!  Amen

"Be Encouraged!"(Colossians 2:2)

"My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,”(Colossians 2:2)

Greetings,
These writings are to encourage believers in Christ Jesus!  Encouragement is so needed!  I would prefer words of encouragement to stand firm, keep going, and be strengthened.  Our very lives crave such acknowledgment.  We can stay the course and endure when we utilize the gift of encouragement.

Challenge:  My beloved brother and sister, you are a follower of Jesus!  Stand firm in your most holy faith!  I pray your heart is filled with encouragement!  Amen!

"Peace Be With You!"(John 20:21)

“Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you!"(John 20:21)

Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. He promised and does give peace to His people.  It is not the peace of the world. Peace symbols and signs do not hold the peace of God.  God’s peace surpasses all understanding.  Turmoil, distress, etc. upsets the mind and soul.  The disciples felt this after Jesus’ death and resurrection.  His appearance and words were meant to comfort them.

Challenge:  Do you need comfort?  I encourage you to rely on Jesus and receive His peace.  Glory to God, the Most High!  Amen!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”(Romans 15:13)

“Who is it that overcomes"(1 John 5:5)

“Who is it that overcomes the world?  Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”(1 John 5:5)

We as believers live in the world, but we are not a part of it.  In fact, the world is an enemy of God and His children.  We have been given power to conquer and be victorious.  We are able through Jesus who gives us strength.  We should rejoice and make sounds of praise in the ears of our Heavenly Father.   We are the ones who overcome!

Those Who Are Victorious!(Revelation 21:7)

“Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.”(Revelation 21:7)

Greetings,

Jesus wrote to the seven churches and spoke the phrase, “To the one who is victorious.”(Revelation, chapters 2 and 3)  He gave a reward each time for being victorious just like an athlete receives a trophy or medal.  However, God gives the final victorious reward.  It is the new beginning!  The reward is Himself and the Lamb, Jesus Christ.  Believers will receive the eternal presence of God and Jesus!

Challenge:  The Great Commission has given the responsibility to believers in making known this eternal reward to others.  Do not hold the wisdom of knowing God, the Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit back! Be bold and courageous in telling the Gospel message!  Amen!

Greetings,

Do you have faith?  Your faith in Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ is evident by the way of lifestyle.  Your actions confirm your beliefs and your trust in God Almighty.  We press forward with confidence that God is with us all the time.  We have hope in our future of eternity in the presence of God.  We live like it in this world.

"Make Every Effort!"(2 Peter 3:14)

“So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.” (2 Peter 3:14)

Greetings,

We are seeing the Day of the Lord approaching. We are eagerly waiting the arrival of the Lord Jesus. There is in us the looking forward to spending eternity with Jesus. Our efforts are to be made toward being ready.  The verse says, “spotless, blameless, and at peace…”  Our hearts, minds, and live are a reflection of the Holy God.  Why?  The “Day” will bring about destruction with fire.  Everything will be made new.

Challenge:  “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be?  You ought to live holy and godly lives.”(2 Peter 3:11)

Walk Humbly!(Micah 6:8)

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."(Micah 6:8)

Walking humbly is to depend on Father God!  He is our very life!  Our every breath comes in accordance to His grace and mercy.  Our actions show forth in every day life to act with justice and mercy.  We show love to all.  Jesus said, “Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”(John 15:13)

Challenge:  Let us search and look for ways to walk humbly with God and others. It involves giving of our very life for them in prayer, actions, and truth.

"I will remember your miracles of long ago."(Psalm 77:11)  "You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples."(Psalm 77:14)

Greetings,

We serve the only God who perform miracles.  He is doing the supernatural.  Our expectations by faith is that Father God will do exceedingly above all we can ask or think.  The Lord Jesus told us to ask anything in His name, and it will be done.(John 14:14)  We ask for salvations of souls, healing, and the intervention of God Almighty.  We wait and actions are taken!

Challenge:  We should testify to others and share the wonders of God through our Lord Jesus Christ!  Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced."(Psalm 105:5)

"Remain Faithful!"(Revelation 14:12)

“This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.”(Revelation 14:12)

Greetings,

The days of the end seem to be fast approaching.  Believers in Christ Jesus will look to heaven for help.  God has promised to never leave us or forsake us.  He is equipping us even now with all that we need.  Prayer is big part of our connection to our Heavenly Father.   Indeed, we will need the strength of the Lord to endure and remain faithful!

"God's Child!"(Galatians 4:6-7)

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,[a] Father.”So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.”(Galatians 4:6-7)

Greetings,

It is all by faith. We believe the existence of Father God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  Our hearts confirm our relationship with them.  We pray in faith believing and receiving.  We ask in assurance that God hears us and will answer.  It is by faith that we are no longer under God’s wrath, but we are now His children.  He is keeping us with His wonderful salvation.

Challenge:  We are called to point others toward Jesus as the only Way, Truth, and Life!  They can also be God’s child.  He will be their Father.  Amen.

"He Judges!"(Revelation 19:11)

Greetings,

“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True.  With justice he judges and wages war.”(Revelation 19:11)

Jesus is the rider.  He is the judge that executes righteousness and justice.  Revelation talks of a future event.  The Holy Bible speaks of judgments happening even now on the Earth.  What is the response when Christians see these judgments happening?  Prayer and intercession for the nations is appropriate.  God is looking for His children to respond extremely in this manner.

Reminder:  “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”(Ezekiel 22:30)

Let us be found by God in Jesus strength praying and interceding for souls!!!

"Enter That Rest!"(Hebrews 4:11)

Greetings,

“10 For anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.  11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.”(Hebrews 4:10-11)

God is looking at the obedience of belief in His Son, Jesus Christ.  We do not work for salvation.  Salvation is the person, Jesus.  Everyone calling on His name will be saved.  This is the Gospel message that is being proclaimed around the world.  We are called to let others know the truth of God’s word.  Other religions mostly require working for the soul’s salvation.

Challenge:  First, examine to make sure you are in the faith having belief in Jesus Christ.  Next, let us declare Jesus as the only Way, Truth, and Life!  All other ways are disobedience.

Greetings,

God is listening to His children that are speaking to Him day and night.  His attention is towards them.  Prayers are reaching His ears that are according to His will.  Believers in Christ Jesus can ask anything that relates to the Kingdom of God.  Praying for love ones and lost souls to have salvation is an example.  We are confident that an answer is on the way.

"I Trust You!"(Psalm 55:23)

Greetings,

We can never underestimate the power of prayer.  It is because we serve the all powerful God through Christ Jesus.  It is to the glory of God that prayers are answered.  Great miracles are taking place and happening daily.  Evil, wickedness, sickness, trouble, trails, etc. are happening, but God!  The Psalmist wrote, “But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days.   But as for me, I trust you.”(Psalm 55:23)

Challenge:  Let us show our faith and trust in the only true and living God by offering many prayers!  These requests are being asked in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and God’s only Son.

Blessings!
