"God Showed His Love!"(1 John 4:9-11)

" 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins."(1 John 4:9-10)

Greetings,

God showed His love in such an extravagant way. He sent His only Son.  This remembrance of His love never gets old.  Jesus' sacrifice for our sins is the only way that they are forgiven.  There is no other way.  It is a love that is worth receiving and then passing on to others.

Challenge:  Receive the love and give it!

11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."(1 John 4:11)

"Peace-loving, Considerate, Submissive...."(James 3:17)

"But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere(James 3:17)

Greetings,

There is a certain way that love behaves.  It will be evident to all of the heavenly citizens that are in their midst. Heavenly citizens have an understanding guided by their reverence and love of God.  They are peace-loving, considerate, and submissive.   They have been given mercy and so are full of mercy.

Jesus said, "You shall recognize them by their fruit."  The fruit will be good with love, joy, etc.  Their sincerity is evident and is impartial.

Challenge:  "I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."(John 17:23)

"Love of God!"(Romans 8:39)

"Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(Romans 8:39)

Greetings,

Many are celebrating love on Valentine's Day.  Believers in Christ Jesus celebrate and recognize God's love.  God loved and gave us His only Son, Jesus.  Jesus loved and gave His life so others can have eternal life.  We love God because of His love for us.  It is comforting to know that He loves us and nothing can come in between that love.

Challenge:  Ask God to continuously make you aware of His love so that you may share it with others.

"Direct Your Hearts Into God's Love!(2 Thessalonians 3:5)

"5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance."(2 Thessalonians 3:5)

Greetings,

Love is what God wants us know and have.  It is imperative in these last days.  Love is to be guarded.  Keep watch over it and protect it with your all.  Jesus said, "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,"(Matthew 24:12) This is one of the reasons. Most of all God lovingly commands us to love.  Let us persevere and overcome all barriers to love.

Challenge:  "And He has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister."(1 John 4:21)
